Free Verse

 This week in Te Kahu calls we learned about different time of poems. I chose to work on free verse poems here is what I did.

Spoken Word Poems

 This week  in Te Kahu class we are learning about poems,the poem I chose was Brown Brother by Joshua Iosefa which is a speech about the stereotype of a pasifika and a brown person, this task was fairly easy but what really made me stressed was the fact I thought I could not complete it in time, what I learned from this task is that a spoken word poem and a speech are very similar. Anyway here is my work. 

Incredible Italy

 This week in Te Kahu class we have been doing a task were we basically plan a holiday. The location I chose was Italy and now here is my work. 

Weekly 7 Term 3 Reflection

 What did i enjoy this week ? This week I enjoyed doing the activity about travelling it was such a fun activity to do. I did it in my old class and it was incredibly fun. My most favourite part about the activity was the brochure part I feel like my brochure about Italy is looking wonderful.

What was one I had and why ? One success I had was doing my  brochure about Italy I feel like it's coming out really good and I'm really proud of it.

What was something I found challenging and why? Something I found really challenging was completing my work, so the only work we really had to do was the independent learning work something my problem was that I I couldn't finish it until I was really stressed out but it turns out that that stress was just a waste of my energy.

 What is the one thing I have learnt this week? This week I haven't really learnt that much memorable things but one thing I have really learnt about is how to plan a holiday.

What am I looking forward to next week and why ?  Something I am looking forward to next week is finding out what we had to had to do this week since this week was very short some of the things that we had to do this week was  moved to next week so I'm very excited to find out what we were supposed to do.

How have I shown the value of pono this week ? This week I have been honest to myself and honest to others.

Priests, Deacons And Bishops

 Today in Te Kahu class we have been looking at the sacrament of holy orders and we created an info graphic on Priests, Deacons and Bishops. Here is Mine.

Week 6 Term 4

 What did I enjoy this week? The thing I enjoyed most this week is winning the Far North Speech Competitions I can proudly say I came first and is one of the proudest moment of my life.

What was one success I had and why? One success I had was in Far North Speech competition 2020 like I said it was a proud moment of my life and I practiced really hard for it.

What is something  that I found challenging and why? Something I found challenging this week was completing my contract because I was away winning the speech comp on Thursday but likely I can easily complete them from home.

What is one thing I have learned? One thing new I have learned is how to better my speech for the future I know the things I need to work on and improve like speaking louder and acting more confident.

What is something I am looking forward to next week? Something I am looking forward to next week is learning about math next week I am sure we are learning about graphs and I am excited to learn this new thing.

How have I shown the value of Pono this week? I have shown the value pono this week by being honest an truthful to myself and others I have also been genuinely kind too.
