The History of Aotearoa
In last weeks contract we had an activity on our contracts that we also had to do this week we had to watch a show called The Aotearoa History Show here is a link.the link Any way while watching the show we had to take notes and with our notes we had to write our very own document on the history of New Zealand. The task was very fun and enjoyable down below will be my document but I only took notes for episode 1 to 8 and there are 14 episode so I have not covered the first world war,Boom and bust, the second world war, post war New Zealand, decades of change and modern New Zealand but you can watch those episodes using the link.History can be brutal and saddening at times especially New Zealand history so read on if you would like to face the sometimes saddening truths but still enjoy. Here is a link to the Document since when I try to post it by embedding it goes very terribly. The History of New Zealand

Poppies
On our digital contract this week we had to make a poppy for ANZAC Day. The reason why the poppy is significant is because poppies grew on the ground were the dead soldiers laid it was also because of a poem called Flanders Field by Canadian poet John McCrae i goes like this "In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.Take up our quarrel with the foe:To you from failing hands we throw The torch yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields". any way he is my poppy and a like to the website that taught me how to do it The Website 2D and 3D shapes
This week in Te Kahu we took knowledge quiz on shapes I got a few of them wrong but it was still a fun task
