Poppies
On our digital contract this week we had to make a poppy for ANZAC Day. The reason why the poppy is significant is because poppies grew on the ground were the dead soldiers laid it was also because of a poem called Flanders Field by Canadian poet John McCrae i goes like this "In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.We are the Dead.
